Yos sees himself as a truly modern, 21st century artist, naturally observing and working with the parameters of his ancestors-mentors: Rembrandt van Rijn, Gustave Courbet, Paul Bonnard, Wassily Kandinsky, Georges Braque, Chaim Soutine and others, Poets, Authors, Play Writers, Musicians and Spirituals. He has worked, studied and exhibited in Tel Aviv, Paris, London, Barcelona and New York City. His latest big showing was at The Attic, the crown jewel gallery space in Santa Cruz California, through January 2008. Some twenty years back Yos discovered a grand open arena, a context in which the work, combining expressioned human figuratives and questionable abstractions. First, there is struggle between components on the canvas. Struggle builds into conflict; then catastrophe, which yields solutions, harmony, bliss. Serious inquiry into the paintings reveals a way out.

These works Yos labels ‘Two to One’. They can be particularly arresting to their intended viewer, the initiated, being not conceived for merely casual observing. Containing the dynamism of actual war they can be read on many levels and in many contexts, speaking both to the acculturated and the intuitive mystic alike. This suite of work ‘Two to One’ is confrontive, pregnant with meaning to the contemplative. Stage by stage, discovery crowding discovery, Yos watches all his conflicts becoming increasingly manageable, even soluble, yielding a bliss. He is buoyed-up, hopeful, steady and ready as he looks to a new dawn.

I am Joseph.

I say I am an artist and even believe it.

Today when beliefs are such unpopular and you need to break free, for me there is freedom in painting. Nothing new about that still, painting allows multidimensional visions as well as interpretations. and it can be even emotional, soft and loving.

I say its enough to make one thing clear for everybody to see with clarity, whatever one sees, and this is just the first line. I have been composing innumerable universes until I realized I am in fact more like Tibor McMaster than I thought. Tibor is Roger Zelazny’s painter of Tarot in Amber.

After many UFO encouters, there is enough alien material in me to melt in and away, the seventies great science fiction passage. Now my ears are entirely Bashar’s. See Bashar Channeling on You-tube. It seems the ultimate teachers have reconnected with us now so, how inspiring indeed it is, to live at this period !

My activity at this stage is diverse. Painting, Films and Sculpturing. Web design and networking . Healing Co-creations and Service – mutual brothers and sisters. Loving and Fighting or better Fighting and then Loving. Loving becomes good friendship and thats where truth must speak. Let it be, allow loves and partnerships so they’ll be more accessible from now on and much less tricky . Allow ourselves to find the help we need, the energy, even before we need it ~ and disallow this amount of WORK ! pleeeaaasse
